Hello.

I'm a customer through Verizon Wireless and have been with them for many years. As of June 30, 2009 I upgraded to the BlackBerry Storm. Within the first week my new phone was locking up and freezing. Verizon replaced this phone that same week with a brand new out of the box Storm. During the last five months I have received five BlackBerry Storms. Two with Verizon store and three with Verizon customer service. I have been on the phone with technical service through Verizon many, many times. The last conversation I had regarding this phone was this past Saturday, December 5th, 2009. I have had to do several security wipes and I'm pulling my battery out at least two to three times a day. I have had issues with this phone since day one and it has became unreliable and unpredictable. I think after five of the same phones, I have done my part as a loyal customer! I have never had any problems with any other phones purchased and fully regret making this purchase. With the phone I'm currently using the problems that seem to be recurring is phone freezing, when receiving a text message I can not click the message to view. I have to compose a new message, enter persons name and then view the message. When adding new contacts my phone locks up and I have to remove battery. When turning phone in landscape mode phone freezes up and many times I have to pull the battery. These are the same issues I have had with the other four phones. I just want a phone that I can depend on. Some days it works great and other days not so well. I'm on call with work and half the time I don't even receive my calls, just shows up as a missed message. So as of Saturday, Verizon was going to make me either pay for another NEW phone or give me a refurbished phone. After 5 lemons, they were going to give me another one. So after I told the customer service lady that it was unacceptable, she put me on hold, talked to her manager and decided to give me a BRAND new Storm 2, at no cost to me. How nice of them to finally fix my issues.
So my questions to everyone is:
Have you had any problems with S2 and if so what were they?
How can I utilize my phone for all it's worth, because it's my very first BlackBerry?
Any tip/tricks to make the battery last longer?
What do you think is great about this phone and has anyone had any problems with the S2?

Thanks for listening to all of my frustrations!

Seth
